1031 Exchange Extensions
The IRS has just issued guidance to grant deadline relief for 1031 exchanges that are already in progress.
According to Notice 2020-23, taxpayers in 1031 exchanges with a 45-day Exchange period or 180-day Exchange period deadline between April 1 and July 15, 2020 will have an automatic extension to July 15th.

Verizon’s Corporate retail location on College Rd / Highway 200 in Ocala, Florida traded on February 24, 2020 for $3,490,000. This was a 1031 Exchange with financing from Citizens First Bank. Buyer representive was Thomas Oldenborg with Re/Max Premier Realty Inc who completed the transaction with Seller representatives Ronnie Issenberg and Gabriel Britti with Marcus & Millichap Miami.

Since inception Thomas Oldenborg has been a judge on the panel for the Marion County High School Business Plan Competition. Held this year at Raney’s Truck Parts in Ocala, FL Thomas sat with 6 other local business owners to choose which individual or group of individuals of aspiring entrepreneurs would make the grade. Terreno Realty Sells 25,000 SF Industrial Property in Miami for $4.3M
MIAMI — Terreno Realty Corp. has sold an industrial property in Miami to an undisclosed buyer for $4.3 million. The property consists of one light industrial building totaling approximately 25,000 square feet on 1.2 acres, which was fully leased at the time of the sale to one tenant on a short-term basis.
